Not sure what it had been exactly, but for whatever reason this morning I was just not feeling the run. Perhaps it was the record mileage week for me last week. Whatever it was, I really was not too keen on running.
By the time that I returned from the gym, I had already eaten dinner, and I wanted to run again. Where in the world was that motivation this morning? Anyhow, I just went on another quick three tonight after a easy slow three this morning. As I continue to prepare for my first full marathon, I notice that my endurance has been increasing but I definitely need to be careful that I do not injure myself.
I have been blessed with meeting an awesome amount of local runners that help guide me through what I should and should not be doing. I sincerely appreciate their help and recommend, that if you were like me what I began running solo, that you meet some of the runners in your community. The support and the motivation has been priceless.
While tonight I am not able to put my finger on what motivated me, I can tell you that more often than not, it is my wonderful running friends.
Good night all!
